Highway is a film by Imtiaz Ali.
Different with brilliant cinematography and very catchy music. This film definitely instils and revives the indispensable travel bug.
There are shots in the film which make you feel good about being free and how would it be if you were given the freedom of wandering aimlessly, doing random countryside things.
This was the first film of Alia Bhatt and she acted well. The rich and young South-Delhi girl character potrayed by her is very impressive. Randeep Hooda showed a strong and believable Haryanvi- Rajasthani character with the angry-young-man face that the was.
One of the best aspect of the film was the plantonic relationship between Alia and Randeep.
Though the film's story is not as impressive (in terms of a realistic story) as is the love for travel. Aimless and beautiful, makes us want to hit the road.
The end of the film is 'bittersweet' - it will leave us laughing,it will leave us crying,it will leave us mesmerized.
