Everyone is a movie critic in this Reliance Jio’s free internet world! (Just kidding! I use jio too! Long live Mr.Ambani)
There is this sudden burst of online movie reviewers everywhere. Everyone seems to use all the technical words like screenplay, cinematography, plot twist, action block, casting etc to portray that they have a thorough knowledge about the movie business. Nowadays it doesn’t take much to be a movie critic, a camera if you want to be a YouTuber or a Facebook account would be suffice too. There are pros and cons to this online movie reviews like two sides of a coin. When speaking of pros, there is a rare chance these days that a good movie goes unrecognised and most importantly it has become easy to gauge the opinion of a commoner. While speaking of cons, it takes more than a Facebook post or a YouTube video (or a blue shirt) to be a critic. A critic is supposed to have a well versed knowledge about the technicalities of the subject he is dealing with. In conclusion, sometimes making too much fun about a movie can tend to surpass the technical strength and the effort that goes into making a movie and on the flip side it also imposes a responsibility on the movie makers to make quality movies.
