the movie kedarnath is set in backdrop of the catastrophic 2013 UTTARAKHAND FLOODS which claimed thousands of lives. two people from different caste and status fall in love mansoor and mukku are two youngsrers who falls in love with each other. the movie revolves around mukku and mansor and their love which is not accepted by their parents mukku is a daughter of a rich hindu pandit's daughter mukku is betrothed to kullu who is a business man and wants to build hotels and lodges in town of kedarnath despite being engaged to kullu mukku falls for mansoor . mansoor belongs to a poor family and works as a porter his other work is to take pilgrims to shiv temple. one day suddenly it started raining heavy and the whole kedarnath town was flooded mansoor takes his old mother to a safe place and comes back to save mukku and other people he saves some people but he dies .
